I would appreciate recommendations for a decent angle cube. Not looking for the "best-of-the-best", but just a quality piece that will do the job.

Thanks,

Andrew

Check either the iGaging or AccuRemote angle cube (I've used the 2nd)... I like them because they have magnets on 3 sides which is pretty handy.

And I have used the Igaging cube. It is a superb little device, allowing great precision with minimal effort and virtually no learning curve.

I would think that one could not go wrong with either..

Thank you, gentlemen, for your recommendations. I will check those out.

+2. It works like a charm. If you are like me, you will start checking anges of everything in your house just for fun.

Can't be stuck to a surface cause it isn't magnetized and a little to big but I use the angle finder app for iphone for my sharpening needs and it's really helped me. Also it's free.

I don't use an angle cube, but if I did I'd probably just get the one off Chef Knives To Go. I use an angle app for iPhone, but not all angle apps are the same. I found the most popular free app, iHandy Level, to be a degree and a half off in reference to the marks on the Edge Pro. I use a free app called Bubble Level (Spirit Level) and found it to be dead on in reference to the EP marks. YMMV

There are several different free apps for the iPhone that have very accurate angle finders.
More than accurate enough for my needs too. I find that 'consistency' of angle to be more important than the actual angle.
