Angle guide clamps for low angles

I have a DMT aligner kit & every stone that fits it. I love the kit but my only problem is that the plastic tightener screw is too tall & gets in the way of the guide rod at the lowest angle. I'm considering a Gatco clamp. It has 6 angles, from from 11 (really 11 degrees overall?) to 30. Does anyone know if the Gatco clamp has a similar problem to the DMT clamp? Can I really use that 11 degree angle & not have the rod get blocked by the tightener screw? I mostly sharpen 3 to 4 inch folders of various widths, BTW. Thank you.

I recommend Lansky over gatco that 15 vs 11 isn't that much if you sharpen correctly.
You can fix the guide rod hitting the big plastic screw by moving the above tension screw till you get a good even look loosing the top screw (the metal one) and tightening the plastic one should fix the problem.
