Its been a while but who's actually dealing ATrims? Google showed ne nothing but out of business closed down sites from a year or two ago. I have a few back when he used to sell them from Albion.

There have been discussions on the various sword related forums concerning Angus Trim. From what I can piece together his "business model" hasn't worked out now for several years. He's run through various retail partners (read into that what you will) and has apparently booked far more orders than he is capable of filling (many swords are years behind on being delivered). The most recent news is he has a vendor or two selling newly produced swords at a very low volume while still owing prior customers back ordered swords. The word is he is attempting to make good on the large back ordered swords. Communications with him are apparently nonexistent so who knows. There is al a rumor that he is partnering with another retailer (seller of japanese style swords) but again who knows. Too bad, he produced great swords.

That stinks. I'll keep an eye out. Thought one of my swords would be better with a scent stopper pommel but cf no longer sells them like he used to

You could always commission a custom pommel from someone, even from CF. Atrim isn't the only one that can make them by a long shot.

That's too bad to read about ATrim because he makes fantastic swords...

And Tinker also makes fantastic swords, but Tinker differs in that he will work with you on a custom based off your specs + he is a very cool guy having met him a few times and to me that matters.

Another good option is Yeshua's Swords for a pommel or other fittings. I know a lot of guys who have dealt with Ernie at Yeshua's and have heard nothing but good reports and the swords I have handle that have been fitted out by him were fantastic.

Gus has transitioned to smaller scale production and higher level finish in the last couple of years.

It is not a rumor that Gus is working with a retailer . I have a very small volume website as a hobby business . Through this website I do offer high end Angus Trim swords through a partnership with Gus called Evolution Arms.

The volume is low , but the quality high , however at this time all energies are being put into completing his backlog.

I have negotiated a partnership with a large importer that will transition angus trims into a higher volume , in-stock brand again , however this volume order is being paused ( Gus's choice) in order to focus energies on the back ordered pieces. The next year will see exciting changes for Angus Trim.

It has been some time since Gus has made scent stoppers. I too would recommend Yeshua Sword.
