I found this knife in an old box, it is red, with a peephole in it, it has a picture in it, can anyone tell me about it.

Without pictures we can't do much. But it sounds like one of the Stanhope models. Some of them have brought pretty high prices on ebay. Ask this question (with pictures) on Bernard Levine's forum for the best answers.
