anhydrous borax in Australia?

Any Aussies on this forum know where to get any anhydrous borax? i've tried but to no avail. the closest i have been able to find some is in W.A so freight would be quite expensive. anywhere in brissie would be ideal. sorry for not posting this in the regional comunities forum but i dont visit there often

If you can get plain borax use that either as is or dry it out.

Woolworths in the washing detergent aisle sells standard BORAX, it works.

Boiler, check with local pottery supply companies, if you have such things. They use is for glazing.

Boiler, try www.campbellsfert.com.au they may have a depot near you. Borax is used in the wine industry as well as for fertilizer. The brand is "3 elephants" and comes from California. 20kg bag was real cheap, maybe 30 or 40 bucks, can't remember.

Keep the bag sealed and stored in a sealed container as it will suck up any moisture.
