Ann at EKI

I just wanted to give Ann at EKI a little credit since I feel it's well deserved.

About a month ago I called EKI to see about placing a phone order, Ann took my call and explained about how easy it was just to order from their website, I in turn explained to her that I really hated putting my CC info on line... I'm just funny about that I guess. She said no problem and took my order, what I ordered wasn't anything special just some T-shirts and spare parts and about 4 or 5 days later I had my order.

Last Wednesday I decided I needed some more T-shirts and spare parts :D I called EKI again and got Ann on the phone once more and surprisingly she remembered who I was. After taking my order we chatted for a little bit about the knives that never made it to Blade Show 2016, I told her I was a Mod on Bladeforums and I had saw the post concerning the missing knives. What really surprised me was her concern that members would be upset with Mr. Emerson and EKI for the knives not showing up. I explained to her that I had not saw anything negative on the forums and I felt that most members would understand that the missing knives was something Mr. Emerson nor EKI had any control over.

To be honest I quite impressed with the customer service that Ann provided, so much so that while I had her on the phone I went ahead and joined the ECA... I had no intention of joining the ECA when I called, a little customer service goes a long way. All this took place on Wednesday and I had my order setting on my doorstep Friday.

Ann if you ever read this I just wanted to say thanks for everything and I promise I'll order a knife the next time I call :D :D

When I spoke to her on the phone they still had not got their knives back.

Another member here posted in a different thread a few days ago stating that EKI had got their knives returned, so far though I have not saw anything official from EKI saying they have.
 
Ann wears a lot of hats at EKI. She is great and EKI is lucky to have her. By far one of my favorite people.
 
Ann is awesome.

In all honesty tho, given the gripes that go on here, I'm sure the primary concern was not dealing with the kinds of whines that only BF generates.

She's fully aware of this.

To end on a positive note, tho, EKI has some EXCELLENT people working there. Some have chatted and laughed with me for nearly an hour over completely non business related things. Very cool, but I hope no one got in trouble after. Lol.

We are fortunate to have these folks.
 
The knives have been returned to EKI. We are very thankful for everyone's concern.
