Ok so everytime I saw a busse like that with the tip serrations and a fighter look I've began to salivate. Now it appears they're taking orders, AWESOME! So anyway anyone have one of these yet? What are the handling characteristics? Is it lively in the hand? Also what is the time frame on order to delivery right now? I literally just discovered this awesome knife and want to put in an order. But got to liquidate some of the collection to do so. Or contact my bank. How long has this knife been available to order am I close to missing out?

No one but Jerry knows how long they will be available. Check out the Custom Shop website for approximate wait time. I got one on order, they're Sweeeet, Mean, and Wicked!!!:)

Well I can't take the chance so the order is in. black and red G10! :) I absolutely can't wait until I get my greedy little paws on this one. It's like the coolest meanest fantasy style fighter but made out of INFI and G10. Those serrations on the tip and the recurve just give it a vicious look.

Congrats on ordering a great blade. The original Flying Mojo is what got me hooked on Busse knives years ago. This new version is one of the coolest blades to ever come out of the shop if you ask me.

For sure! I currently have a TGLB (first busse) which I absolutely love. I also bought A FBM, Game warden combo from one of our forumites which I also love and is my go to heavy outdoor knife.

The Mojos are some pretty spectacular knives, that's for sure! Flying Mojos just look menacing and angry.

This thread is making me seriously consider getting one. If I do I might try to get top serrations only. I really like the black micarta, but I'm curious what the G10 pattern is on them.

I just looked at a bunch of images of various black and red busse handles decided they were the only colors mean enough for that blade and that was it.

Ok so here's the update :) just got the email that my knife is ready to ship. Caught me by surprise though since it was way way faster then the estimated timeframe. So I hadn't transfered the cash yet so my transfer comes through next week. Then it'll ship! I'm super excited. This knife is definitely a grail of mine (or at least the origional was) but this one is even better!

Anyone know a great sheathmaker for this beauty? I'm thinking, leather, snakeskin inlay, belt frog. Basically fighting bowie style carry. Except I want a hollow rivit at the tip to attach a shock cord and carabiner, That way if the sheath comes out on the draw the shock cord stops it and the knife draws clean. Plus then the sheath hangs free of the body for putting away. I often carry my brous blades stryker with a shock cord. Great way to conceal a fixed blade

Yeah It says on the site 16 to 24 weeks. I ordered on feb 24th. Its been about 2.5 weeks lol. I'm really excited to to be getting it so soon.

Cool I'll check into it. Thanks.

I've actually done a little leatherwork myself, mostly saps and blackjacks. But I'm not sure I'm up to this lol. Maybe I'll give it a shot. Worst thing that can happen is I have to scrap it lol
