anniversary gift idea

I would like to buy a pocket knife for my husband for our 25th anniversary. He likes single blade lockback styles. He has several Case knifes and a few Mcusta, Spiderco, and Buck knives. Do you have any suggestions for a different brand that would be nice to add to his collection? I am ok with spending $300+ if there is something out there that you think would be a good choice. Thanks so much.

That is a great idea if he has a small collection started. I should drop my fiancee some hints! It really depends on what he is looking to add; do you think he would go with more of a gentleman's knife or tactical? There are many possibilities of each that would be good for every day carry. I like everything from my Kershaws to my Mcusta. My two most recent purchases that are on their way to my house right now are the Benchmade Mini Barrage and the CRKT Eros with titanium handle.

Check out the CRKT Eros here:

And the Mini Barrage here:

Partially serrated:

There is also the regular Barrage that is a bit larger for things like hiking and hunting.

These are just my most recent additions, I'm sure you will get dozens of other knife recommendations that would be excellent choices.

Good luck

Some common suggestions for high-end folders include Chris Reeve Knives, Benchmade, Microtech, Hinderer, Strider, and William Henry.

just coming on to say that as well... the benchmade "big summit lake" and "small summit lake" from the hunt series are lock back benchmades that are around 125-150

A CRK of some variation seems perfect. Congrats on the 25 years and extra points for joining a knife forum looking for advice on a great gift.

If he's into lockbacks I can't think of one better than this.

LionSteel TM1

lionsteel has some nice damascus blades with lockbacks for under 300 as well if you want to get something more ornate

Something special for a 25th anniversary? William Henry. They start on the budget side with the EDC series for under $300 and go all the way into the multi-thousand $ range. Elegant, simple, and superbly crafted.
