Hi guys!

My wife and I had celebrated our anniversary today. About a month or so, I ordered at Gregs site one GEC #73 Beaver Tail with brazilian cherrywood. My wife asked me, if I´d like a pocket knife for our anniversary. I didn´t say "no", of course. So she ordered that one. I had to promise, not to look at the shipping card. The Email sent by Greg was in her account, so I couldn´t get any information.
I thought that package would have not been arrived anyhow. But today in the morning, before breakfast she gave me two tubes by GEC :) You know what I mean... like a little boy at Christmas... One of the tubes contained the #73 Beaver Tail and the otherone the #66 Moose pattern of 2012

But no longer talking... here they come

It´s my first Northfield at all. Great looking and feeling knife, in hand as well as in pocket. And my very first Moose pattern ever. Great pattern.

The #73 also is a great pattern. I like the jigged wood handles. The beaver shield is nice, too and it has a mighty snap.

My traffic-light-setup ;)

It´s a great day. The #66 Moose will be my sundayknife :) I like the long pulls and the pinched bolsters. I can´t thank my wife enough for getting such a wonderful present.

Kind regards
Andi :)

Congratulations Andi! I love my "Bullwinkle J Moose", it rides in the pocket just nice.

Congrats on having a great wife who indulges your hobby too.

Congratulations Andi!

That dark cherry is beautiful, and you have three lovely model 66s. I'm a little jealous, but mostly happy for you!

Andi,

What a great surprise!

I really like your Traffic Light picture. :)

Congratulations on your anniversary, and the wife who chose such a beautiful knife for you.

Congrats buddy, the Bullwinkle is one of my favorite patterns. GEC really did a nice job on it.

Now you're going to have trouble figuring out which knife to put in your pocket. :p

Hey Humppa, awesome additions.
I know you will really enjoy them both, I was able to check out the #66 Moose at the show and it was awesome. Definitely a keeper, great pattern.

The #73 is a favorite of mine and a great seller for GEC, I know you will enjoy this one too.
It's a big, medium sized knife, it does a lot and still feels great in the pocket.

Lovely knives and happy anniversary Andi:)

I've had my eye on the brazilian cherry #73L, be keen to know your thoughts on it.

Sam

Thank you guys, for the kind words.

I´ve carried them during the last few hours. We went for a great meal to a restaurant (typical bavarian restaurant) and had a nice afternoon on a cafe. Both feel good in the pocket and in hand.

Now, I have really trouble to chooses which knife will follow me during the day... But that´s not really a problem. Two knives can also be carried ;)

Now (imo) I have already a nice little collection on GECs... :)

I can´t wait carrying them during a working day or as a real EDC.

Kind regards
Andi

Like everyone has said, happy anniversary and congrats! Thats real nice all around. Enjoy it all Andi :)

Happy anniversary Andi. Sounds like you've got a keeper (wife and knives! ;) ) Congrats

Congrats - two gorgeous knives there! Hmmm... my ten year anniversary is in a few weeks. Maybe I'll keep this thread open on the family laptop...

Thank you fellows! You´re all right, because of the wife and the knives :)

Kind regards
Andi
