Here's my latest addition to my ever growing knife family.......while I still consider myself part of the axe mob, I've found that I REALLY like to baton with my knives. Well.....this knife BEGS to be batoned and I plan on doing that a lot to her! No abuse, but she sure is going to see some use!
It is a Busse Battlefield Mistress....11" blade and a wonderful handle. I wish I had enough money to buy 2 and keep one as a safe queen, but it was tight just ordering 1! Many years ago I found Busse and at that time they had the original Battlefield Mistress, but I waited too long and I thought that unless I paid a TON of money, that I'd never own one. I kept going back to their web site every couple weeks for years now just hoping they may bring something like it back, never really thinking they might offer an anniversary edition. It was expensive, but I wasn't going to wait on this one and miss out again! Kind of like if ammo EVER gets back to normal because if that happens I'm going to stock pile a TON! I am TOTALLY stoked on this purchase and have NO regrets! Part of me wants to hold back and baby her because she is sooooo pretty, but I can't! I've been waiting for years for this moment and have at times thought that it would never happen! Below are some pics of her while she is still a virgin......she AIN'T gonna be a virgin for long!!!:D

Battlefield Mistress I like it.

Nice knife my friend.

No Regrets that's the Spirit!!! Congrats and welcome...:D

Looks great man! Pretty cool that Busse brought these beauties back for the anniversary!

+1

Great choice, great score, use it in good health.

Thanks for sharing pics and congratulations!

Who did your sheath--looks like a nice job.
The sheath was made by HJE leather. Like I said, it was originally for another knife (Fiddleback Forge 12" machette), but it fits like a glove on the Busse. The snap is a little tight, but I oiled her all up and left it snapped for a few days and now it's fine.

Looks like 1066vik called it. Appears to work great--congrats again and thanks for posting.

I like your choice of colors. the Double cut with the black canvas gives it the "old school" look. This is classic blade; one that will be passed down in the family tree... I'm thinking Busse is kinda like the Japanese and their Samurai swords. I wish Busse would do engraving on the blades for the HOGS.. it would personalize the blade even more with a name or quote or symbol on the blade. Sweet blade
