Annodized seems wrong?

So my auto seems a little off. Just noticed that the color is different on both sides? Maybe they forgot to seal it? Anyway to seal it or fix it without sending it back? I cant go without my SOG.
It feels different on both sides also. One side feels smooth the other not as much.

Interesting. It very well could be that it missed a step or didn't get sealed like you are describing. I don't know enough about the process to say what caused the difference in colors. maybe they were done in different batches. I do not think that this will be an issue with the knife. but if you are unhappy with it you can send it and we will check it out. otherwise I'd say continue to use the knife.

Thanks Chris. I believe it wasn't sealed because the surface feels porous to the touch. I may be able to fix it by dropping it in boiling water. I know about the anodizing process because I do some at home myself. Thanks.
