It with heavy heart that I announce Dan's passing. He left us on Sunday 16 January, 2011. He celebrated his 88th birthday on Saturday.

Sorry for your loss.
I never owned one of his knives but greatly admired his designs. I've read nothing but good things about him through the years.
Another legend gone.
