I really wanted to like the Freek. I liked the blade shape, how it felt in my hand, but I didn't care for the rubberized inlays and the way that they grabbed my pocket when clipped so I didn't get it. This variation, however, might just be a home run. I can't wait to get my hands on one.

I dig everything about this knife. Well, I would have preferred DLC to Cerakote, but that’s picking nits.

Waiting to hear what shakes out with a local dealer.

Called 10 local dealers, no luck. Oh well, 500 piece is just tough. Possibly excluding a couple of states that’s like 12-15 knives per state.

I want one of these so bad. I’m going to have to be very lucky. Called Benchmade directly, Bench rep I talked to actually threw out the number of 400 made. Of coarse the next oddity like this to be presented won’t be my cup of tea.
