this looks nice. i get why they went with a liner lock over an axis lock, so that it can be either tip-up or tip-down carry. pretty sure there’s never been a tip-down axis knife, and i’m not sure there’d be a way to make the clip & axis lock fit in the same area.

couple quick questions, does this clip fit the standard hole pattern like the regular deep carry clips, or is it different? also, does this have the adjustable stop pin like other benchmade liner & frame lock knives? i can’t tell from the pictures

No the clip is not the "standard" like the regular deep carry clips. It does have the adjustable open stop pin though.

i’m at the point where i can afford one ~$200 knife a year when our tax return comes in. had it pretty much narrowed down to either the fact or a custom crooked river. and now y’all throw this one out there too. grrrrrrr

Just ordered the 390BK directly from Benchmade on 05 SEP. Any idea on what timeframe I can expect for delivery? Thanks.
 
Great looking knife. One of my favorite knives is the EKI A-100. The 390 is similar and more versital. Thank you
Benchmade for bringing back the liner lock. I prefer the ergos of a liner lock over all others. Looking forward to the mini version. Love to see a satin or stonewash 154CM blade.
