Announcing the NEW 535-191 Limited-Unlimited Gold Class Bugout!

Can someone explain “Limited-Unlimited? o_O

It just means that it is limited in the length of production (one year) but we will make an unlimited amount in that year. The flip side is the Limited-Limited which is made for a limited amount of time and the number we make is limited (1 of 50).

Ahh, that makes sense, thx!

Anybody have one? If so how long do you leave it out in light to get a full glow? Do you find you need full sun to “charge” it?

Given that I tend to keep my pocket knives in my pockets, I am not sure mine will ever glow.

I don't think any part of that knife that will glow, no matter how long you leave it in the sun.

Both the c tek and flakes in the rest of the handle glow. Just tying to get a handle (as it were) on how long and how intense the charge needs to be. Benchmade has a good photo of one charged. Justed no info on charge times out there from what I can find.

Answered my own question, two minutes held right against an LED lightbulb made it light up bright.

How is the damasteel as far as cutting performance? Similar to the steels it’s made from?

And please, don’t say “well it won’t cut a gun...”

I am not putting it to any serious use and have only had it for 2 days, but it seems to cut paper and fish with the same level of ease as my regular bugout. Given it is a gold, it really won't see field work for me, but it will probably cut some pizza at the local pizzeria and some other food here or there and that is it.
