Annoying ad when browsing on mobile.

For a while now, (I'm not sure exactly how long,) the ad pictured below has been showing up whenever I access BF on my iPod.

Furthermore, rather than just disappearing when the "x" is clicked, it for some reason redirects you here. And it also "follows" you around, so you can't just make it go away by, say, clicking on a subforum.
I just checked with Mobile Safari, and in that browser, the ad works as it should. But I don't use Safari. I figure if I'm the only one who doesn't, then, whatever... I can live with it. But if other people also use different browsers, and are annoyed by this as well, than maybe consider ditching the ad?

That ad has been around since Spark upgraded the Tapatalk extension on the server. It might not be an issue if you actually login and stay logged in via your phone. I use an iPhone 5, iPad3. A Macbook Pro, and a couple different Windows PCs, the ad only comes up on mobile devices when you don't sign in.

To be honest, I find it extremely helpful when looking for information on knives or hunting(I use tapatalk for about 7 other forums)
That way everytime I have a question I can easily find information via google rather than making a whole new thread, pull up the forum then go straight a mobile friendly browser.

I think he was referring to the ad itself, not the app. Bless you for searching forums and doing some legwork rather than carpet bombing with repeat questions. :D

You are so welcome!
I too become annoyed by the questions that get asked about things that have been answered +50 times in 15 different forums

Google is a very powerful tool that takes 1/8 of the time to search, than to make a thread and get answered
Why not use it?
I think of making a thread as a last resort
