Annual vs Regular lock milling

This is interesting, I just noticed how different the lock milling between a 2003 Large Regular and a 2010 Large Annual. It's interesting. Anybody have any idea why they are so different.

CRK has changed little things over the years. Frame lock cutouts, jimping, grooves on the outside of the scales, detents, you name it. The Sebenza is an evolution of knife making experience. Its also quite common to see differences within the models, like you showed us. The P Sebenzas, The Regulars, The 21's.

I see what you are talking about now! The reason I was puzzled can be shown in the picture below. This is a picture of a 2003 and a 2010 annual small sebenza (which are both regular of course). I guess the differences from your picture were unique to the large version of the knife! As you stay here longer you will see the many subtle changes that have taken place over the years
