Anodize removal

Hi guys just picked up a Zero 0808blue, it's a great knife but I don't like the color. Is there any way to remove the blue anodizing?

The anodizing is just a thin layer at the surface, so anything that can abrade or etch that surface away is theoretically an option.

That said, getting into grooves and crevices can be tricky (unless you have the setup to bead blast or something) and that particularly knife comes in a plain titanium version, so why not just sell the blue version and buy the regular version instead?

I picked the blue up from for a very good price, much less than the standard version. I wasn't sure if the anodizing was hard to remove or if I could just soak it in some chemical.

There's a product called Multi-Etch, it's the only chemical I know of that easily removes Titanium anodizing. It's what I use to erase mistakes during anodizing.

Wink rust and stain remover will. Keep in mind though that it contains a strong acid. Propper prep and handling is required
