Anodized Bolsters

I've now acquired a couple of *"Pre-Tactical" Emersons, and have come to appreciate the colors on the Anodized Bolsters. The knives I have have different colored bolsters and the color graduates from one color to another depending on the way the light strikes it. (Which makes it terribly difficult to photograph them, to show off their beauty!)

How did Ernie Anodize these and who else out there other than Jackstraw has any *"Pre-tacticals"?

* Name coined by Jackstraw which has stuck to these particular types of knives.

The anodized bolsters and liners on these older knives really have to be seen in different lighting conditions to be fully appreciated. There is an iridescence that makes it seem like there is light coming from inside them. Congratulations on your recent acquisition.
