Anodized Chris Reeve Hardware?

Hi guys, so I know there are folks out there who will anodize various knife parts to order, but I'd rather not give up my knives for a week or two to have it done.

Is there anyone who sells anodized CRK hardware outright(ie. pocket clips, screws, or standoffs)? I know you can find that sort of thing for more popular brands (BM/Spyderco) on auction sites, but my google-fu has failed to turn up any such hardware for CRK.

Any help you can provide would be appreciated!

You can order just about all that stuff from CRK then send it out to have the anodizing done but to answer the question I have not seen anyone offer anodized hardware for sale.

Remember that any sort of "pimping" will void your warranty.

Yeah, that's part of why I don't want to have the scales anodized. I figure if I can get official CRK hardware that's anodized, it should fit everything perfectly (and thus cause no undue stress or wear) and if I ever need to send it in for warranty work I can just swap the anodized parts out for the originals.

That's probably what I'll have to do; my search has continued to come up dry. Thanks.

Was that done before or after the 'pickle' treatment?
What grade of anodize is that?
Thanks for the knowledge-

You can NOT anodize Titanium, or stainless steel.

Yeah, what?

People anodize Ti all the time, you absolutely can. You can't anodize steel, though you can heat color it, which some people incorrectly refer to as anodizing or heat anodizing.

Anodizing Ti involves using heat to color the surface or passing an electrical current through the Ti to change the surface color.
