Anodized my Sebenza 25

Really cool shade of blue! What voltage did you use?

That looks great! Really nice job! I think the 25's lack of location hole and simplified lanyard setup makes a great canvas for mods like that, and matching up to the thumb stud makes it look "factory".

Ones I have done for others and myself

That looks great!

I wanted my 25 anodized and asked some people but never got a response back.

Wish I had the equipment to do it myself.

That came out great!! Zeta33 love what you have done!! Looks like you've got things pretty dialed in!! I got a benchtop power supply for Xmas and have been intending on trying some ano work myself..Ive been sidetracked by other projects and hobbies so much.

Got this one from a guy who was anodizing before he left for overseas... pretty cool job too...

Stunning! One more skill I should perhaps learn? Found some interesting sites/info via Google. Don't know if I will ever get to this in a busy life. But any recommended sites/links? Thanks...;-)

The "Mr. Titanium" tutorials you have likely seen are pretty much dead on. Tips to help beyond what is written is to use Multi Etch to prep your titanium surfaces before putting them in the ano bath, stay diligent in keeping the ano bath VERY clean, note that voltage and duration submerged in the ano bath both effect the color (20 seconds at 30 volts will look different than 40 depending on a few other factors), Multi Etch can be used to strip anodized finishes clean/very quickly, and the more surface area you've got with your cathode...the better.

whitty will probably have more to add! :)

Thanks Zeta33. Never knew this was even possible to accomplish. Perhaps will try this someday when my life slows down a bit...;-)

Think a Seb in a nice shade of burnt orange would look great...;-)

Here's mine I did a few years ago
Sebenza converted by Butch Vallotton, with custom anodizing.

I almost forgot this old pic of my Sebenza, the first anodizing I did...

Amazing what can be done with a bit of work, and some creativity. Thanks for all the photos...Cheers.

Thats so hot, love that custom anno. When I was a kid I always dreamt of getting one of the custom annoed paintball guns with the awesome splash finished. This is the big boy version, haha looks awesome
