Anybody aware of any negatives to getting your titanium on a ZT anodized. I just want to get some feedback before I do it. Anybody recommend not to.

Some companies have voided warranty work in the past, don't know if ZT would. It can also change the surface of the lock face, causing lock stick for a while.

I have a 450, 452 and a 562. Got all from Scott at usamadeblade and he anodized all of them. No lock issues at all and they look awesome!!
Had them for a couple of months, all with lots of pocket time and they look just like they did out of the box.
If you want to do it.....do it! They look so cool!!

There's a sponsor here, username Whitty from USA MADE BLADE. He sells anodized ZTs, I'd ask him to be sure. I'm now seeing palonej replying similarly. Ask Whitty...

I checked into this and I am getting the 0452CF in deep purple. No extra charge it's awesome.
Thanks everyone.

I have 3 or 4 Ti knives anno'd and never had a problem with any of then. Only issue I can see is resale, and if you pick a classy color that shouldn't be an issue either. This all assumes the anno job was done buy competent craftsman.

I've had my ZT0620 electric anodized and have not had any issues with it. The lockface is a steel insert, so no issues with that. I also heat anodized my ZT0777 and have not had any issues. I'm not expecting to use the ZT warranty, so I don't know how that is affected.

If you heat anodize the lockbar, there is a chance the detent ball will pop out. Heat expands things, thus the reason this can happen.
