Anodizing/Acid washing?

This might be a dumb question but here it goes.....

Is it possible to Acid wash the Ti frame lock side of a knife? or get a similar look of an acid washed finish on Ti? what are also some of the Cons to doing this.
 
I also wanted to know if acid washing weakened the blade at all?! Also why only do the blade and clip?
