Anodizing over bead blast

A while back, someone asked if you could anodize over bead blasted titanium. I didn't have a camera then, but here are some new pics to show you the results..........

On this one, you can really see the contrast between the satin finished parts and the bead blast parts.

you are having way too much fun with that camera!!! So basically, anodizing over a BB makes the color look a little darker and not as shiny, so it is a matte finish? I like that one! too bad you cant blue damasteel!

I forgot to mention that all the anodizing on this folder was done at the same setting.

The texture of the bead blast frame (matte finish) just makes the color look darker than the satin finished hardware. The results will vary somewhat, depending on the blasting media used.
