Hope it's OK to post this here...feel free to move it if not...

I'm working on a new video project this week. I'm calling it "Anodizing Titanium: Surface Decoration and Techniques for the Knifemaker."

My buddy and I are done filming and we're working through the editing right now. I reviewed the second draft copy this afternoon and it's looking pretty close to complete so I thought I'd announce it and see if there's going to be any interest in it.

The video is 55 minutes in length and is filled with all kinds of detailed segments ranging from making the most basic single colors to doing rainbow effects, engine turning, masking techniques, pattern creation and anodic painting. I've tried to cover a lot of different techniques in order to open the mind to the possibilities and hopefully inspire folks to create their own wonderful effects.

Not sure yet of price or when the first copies can ship but I'll have more info as the week goes on. :)

Have a great New Years everyone! :D

That's great Peter...let me know the price when you come up with it. Do you show how Kershaw gets their fantastic colors on their Rainbow Leek?:)

Peter, let me know when you get it ready for sale. I'll buy a copy. Maybe I can convince Kelly to get one too.

Hey thanks guys! I appreciate the enthusiasm. :)

Bruz, The Leek has some funky stuff going on there. I think they coat the blade with titanium nitride or some such....way beyond the ability of the home user. But it's only one thing in the big wide world of possibilities........;)
