Hi guys, quick question. I spend alot of my time lurking in the Chris Reeve's area but have recently picked up my first Hinderer. XM-18 3.5 inch slicer flipper that I am still waiting to come in that I picked up on another site.

I have been noticing people starting to anodize sebenza scales and the like, and have also seen some anodized XMs in the photo thread. Are these stock, or custom done by the owners? Just wondering if anodizing your XM lock side or liner will void your warranty or if it is something they look at as cosmetic since the coating layer that builds up is microns thick?

Thanks ahead of time for the responses and looking forward to getting my hands on an XM of my own here shortly

Take a look at the Top Sticky on the main page of this Forum as it relates to "Pimped" knives.
Most (if not all) of the ones you see in the RH pic thread are anodized knives from RH.
Enjoy your knife :)
