Anodizing

I just got a zero tolerance 0801 all black I was wondering if anybody could anodize it and how much that would cost .

You can do it yourself with 9V batteries and diet coke. Don't shock yourself:encouragement:

It would probably be around a $100 lot charge, more for hard anodize. Look for plating companies in the yellow pages

If you're not in a hurry, you could probably find a plating shop that will batch it in one of their production runs. Depending on the qty they're running, you could probably get two scales done for around $15-$20

Is there an easy way to get the black paint that came on it off

Also, you should go with hard anodize. it's FAR more scratch resistant. It will cost more, but it's money well spent.
