Here is another one of those holy grail 1/300 SHBM that unfortunately does not belong to me.
This one was coated and the owner stripped it and put a somewhat satin finish on it. All I did was just refine it a bit and tried to remove as little material as possible. I removed barely just enough to get rid of the dimples on the primary bevel near the spine. The edge thickness also remained nearly the same as it was already very thin to begin with. I put on a highly polished zero convex edge that is now stupid sharp. Also put a slight chamfer to the talon holes and polished out all around the spine.
