Here is another one of those holy grail 1/300 SHBM that unfortunately does not belong to me.

This one was coated and the owner stripped it and put a somewhat satin finish on it. All I did was just refine it a bit and tried to remove as little material as possible. I removed barely just enough to get rid of the dimples on the primary bevel near the spine. The edge thickness also remained nearly the same as it was already very thin to begin with. I put on a highly polished zero convex edge that is now stupid sharp. Also put a slight chamfer to the talon holes and polished out all around the spine.

Holy smokes Ban!!! She's incredible!!! I can see some fresh coconuts in the very near future....among many other things :p

Fantastic work again Ban!!! That 1/300 is just one of Busse's Ferrari line.Excellent lines!!!

I finally was able to handle a "Banned" blade, a FBM....it is without a doubt THE MOST SCARY sharp knife I have EVER held....I mean I am careful anytime I even look at it!

It is creepy how sharp it is. Great Work!

Who's FBM was it? If I may ask ;) My sharpening technique is continually evolving and the stuff that I have sharpened the last month or so are some of the sharpest that I have done.

Based on that statement, I can't wait for my Custom ASH-1!!

Blade is only 3 weeks away!!

I don't think he would mind, I am turning out some sheaths for him.....but I will give you a hint. He bends Tin and Works in a Valley

Yep, it sure is sharp. Ask Norcalblacktail....He witnessed me lopping off pieces from a strand of hair with just a slight pushcut :D I'll have to run the edge over some sandpaper before I give it back so that you won't have to make that trip to the ER playing with it while drunk :p

Ah.....that one.....I remember her. Snake Skin with hybrid flat/convex grind to a zero edge ;)
