G'Day, Now on their way to Australia ,3 items mis-listed and I feel even more reason to scan other knife areas on Ebay besides 'Schrade'

Item#280092232585 Mint Gift Boxed with Sheath Schrimshaw LB7 Ram @$35. only 1 bid listed under Vintage pre 1970 'Other'., and with "Shrade" spelling. No doubt this cost more at release., and yet had no lookers.
and by the same seller listed under pre 1970 Folding knife under heading 152UH with sheath @ $20.50 Item 280092236723. Why would anyone buy a Taylor "bit of rubbish" when you can buy genuine for this sort of money? It is in fact 152 OT not UH and that is what attracted me in the first place search.
Item 280092236850 under Folding Knife 152UH @$30.06 interesting dark Sheath for 152.
So for $85 I reckon great value. Those 152's sell on Aussie Ebay for Au$80 = US$63 plus, all they're ever offered is Chineee.
I just sold a loose no box or paperwork GDOT Stockman for Au$150 = US$112 on Aussie Ebay........Oh well it helps me keep collecting...Just to give idea of the huge swings in prices for an emerging secondary Schrade collector market. Hoo Roo

I've found quite a few "Shrade" bargains Larry, before the "secret" was out. I've even seen a few people list as Schrade Shrade. I even found a "Scrade" one time. I would warrant a guess, that each bidder has their own Ebay browsing techniques to find knives.

Sometimes I'm going through my rounds and one pops up in a search that you swear wasn't there the day before, but all of a sudden is in there with knives you've been looking at for a week. Kind of like that torpedo sized zucchini that all of a sudden appears one morning out of nowhere.

Here's a beauty: Ebay auction 140096054616

A Taylor Scrade with SHRADE TAYLOR in the description! Now there's a $19.00 bargain 77OT!

Too true Thawk a knife pops up from the Bermuda Triangle of knives and joins the ones you've been watching with 5 days already gone and you wonder was it listed with Brassiers or whatever and did it look out of place there?? One of lifes mysteries. As soon as someone spells Schrade wrong they have my undivided attention as no one with any knowledge would ever list without double checking the spelling..would they? I'm not issuing a stereotype here, but I've seen a few very nice knives listed, and a few I've won, by someone with a very nice collection, that did not obtain said collection by winning spelling bees or photography contests.

In fact, there are a few knives you see that are a gamble due to such a poor description and an equally poor photo, that end up being a diamond in the rough, . . . or a turd in the punchbowl.
