Just finished this one for a fourm member.
Forged 5160 1/4" thick a bit over 8" long
The handle is Desert Ironwood and is about 5 1/4"
The guard and ferrule are 416 SS with a copper spacer polished a bit on the buffing wheel.
The pin and tubing in the handle are also 416 SS in 1/4" size.

Classic lines and pretty ironwood - what's not to like? Nice one Rusty.

nice looking knife! I especially enjoy the guard, it seems just the right thickness. As for the rest of the handle, nice wood and great shape. Fit/finish looks great.

Yup...has a nice "clean" well-finished look and exceptionally nice ironwood.
The only negative I can think of, is that it is not in front of me so that I could see how it feels in my hand:D

Thanks for all the complements and kind words.

The one I'm working on next will have a little longer blade mabey a slight recurve and nice piece of stag I just picked up. Working on the sketches now.
