Another Aussie bargain

I bought this one for my very own birthday. I've found that's the only way to get what you really want.

This is one of Peter Marker's MAXIs. Blade is 3 3/4" hollow ground 440c with aluminum bolster and grey G-10 scales. It was only US$115.00 (caught him in an after Christmas sales mood I guess). Love that exchange rate. Right now it's about 2 to 1 with Australia or Canada.

I sure hope that is a reflection on the tip. Looks like a very nice knife. The price seems to good to believe.

By the way, it's not quite $2.00 Canadian to a US$. Only about $1.60. That's bad enough though.

I pick on the Canadians too. Here's a nice little forged Bowie by Ron Leuschen of Little Hen Knives. Burly maple handle, copper guard and hand forged 8" O-1 blade. This is an amazingly controllable knife for its size.
