I'm with Marsupial about the BA being a just too handy sized blade. My question is the blade width. Is it going to be wide like the BA-e's or narrower like the BAIII, DAB and such? I like the wider blades of the SHBA's and the ergos, especially in the kitchen where they see the most use. Hey, if ya got them, use them. Beats the hell out of any other kitchen cutlery. (well, my HR gets used alot also) At least they aren't gathering dust in the safe.

Looking at pics, I can see it has the same profile as the DAB but for guys who have seen one in person. Is it as narrow or wider? I'm hoping it got supersized like the SH's and BM's back to the older width. Thanks.

From my memory of Blade East, I would say that it is wider than the BA III but not quite as wide as the BA-E. In any case, it is a fantastic knife. I will definitely order one.

Oh for sure one will get ordered. Was just hoping for a bit wider blade than the BAIII. I'm glad it's a bit wider, that would put it about with the SHBA's. The ergos were wider and had a different blade profile than the straight handles. The BAII's had pretty much the same profile, but were much narrower. Didn't really float my boat. My EDC is a fatty SHBA. The blade profile is very well suited for EDC as it's a bit more pointy than the ergo, but the ergo works better in the kitchen. I'm not getting rid of either. Can't wait for the Fusion.
