EMS for 15 inch 29 ounce Ang Khola Bowie by Bhakta.

Got the Done Deal.

I like the 2 oz/inch ration for these short chopping blades.

Wow, you almost never see a Kobra that long, that lightweight. I have a 25" Kumar-made Kobra from about 15 years ago. It clocks in at around 34 oz. It would be good to taking apart chainmail, but it's a pretty chubby Kobra for bushwacking. I have a 20.5" 20.5 oz one made by the old Railroad Kami. Laserbeam through grasses. Something this long and light would be formidable.

Yep steely, I’ve got a heavier Kobra by Kumar also and that lightweight is appealing!

Steve is off the grid enroute back east Pennsylvania or someplace like that.

Hope he's not on the witness protection program, I just let the cat out of the sack.

OK yall had your chance! EMS Sybil (two tone KLVUK that is).

I absolutely LOVE my KLVUK. It's my #1 khuk. Period. Even more than my world's bestest Curved Spine. It flat out WORKS!!

Klvuk, huh. Just. Don't get it. Plenty of other khukuris to perform the work.

My BAS is my current jack-of-all-spades knife. It does anything I throw at it.

I do like my KLVUKS too! I lost count of them tho. I think im up to about six? Now I got a pair of two tones!

I’m with you Amko! I’ve got 3 BAS knives! One I bought that was already used for $25. It’s my “go to” knife! I absolutely love the way it performs and does everything I throw at it also....but a more beautiful knife..my opinion!

And with good reason, Sir! Functional art in a handy package. Punches above its weight. Classic looks too. Seriously under-rated among the HI line-up. Glad you invested in a trifecta!
Edit: Couple of days ago I honed the edge with my Lansky Puck. Now it shaves paper like a champ.

I received the Bhakta AK Bowie a couple of days ago. Couldn't be more pleased.

At 15" OAL and 29 oz, this blade is a beast, as well as beautiful with those amazing fullers and slightly recurved edge.

It feels massive in the hand, like a full-sized axe without the long axe handle. It's heavy, but the short length puts the center of gravity close to the hand, so it doesn't strain the wrist.

That is a beauty David! Bhakta makes just the right recurve! All his sizes have the same awesome feel and balance even down to the micro. No need to talk about them fullers. They speak for themselves:thumbsup:
