Had to post this here and hope Matt doesn't mind, but I am blown away. I haven't received this one yet, but from the pics received, I see no way I will be disappointed with it!! See what ya think......

Unreal, from tip to heel! I love the forge marks (what kind of steel?) and those are the thickest mammoth ivory scales I've ever seen! Didn't even know you could get it that thick.
 
I haven't put hands on yet but blade approx 8 1/2" long by about 1 9/16th wide is what they tend to run. I am not so worried about the exact specs as Matt has done some excellent work for me in the past.

My grandfather was a butcher for 25+ yrs and used a blade of that pattern for as long as I can remember.
