Yep, we like beaver ponds... Three of the kids and I set off for a morning hike a couple of miles from our house. We hiked around a couple of ponds and part of a mountain over the course of about 3 hours. Didn't see any beavers, but lots of beaver sign, Great blue Herons, snakes and turtles....

Good stuff Mneedham. I wouldn't mind having access to that pond from my doorstep!

Nice pictures, mn, but maybe if you quit beating your kids when you're out hiking, they might smile.

Doc :D

Great pictures! Those trees look cool all chewed up like that. Beavers are intriguing creatures.

If you had a headless mom, you might not smile either....

The kids are happy. That is the "can we go home now" look.

They actually had a great time, don't know what that look is about!

Yep, they are.. Real pain for farmers, but definitely intriguing..

Cool pics mneedham, I love the pics of the forest and the trees that have been carved on. Do you carry the pack and the water bottle holder too? Tell them kids of yours to smile when in they are out in nature LOL That looks like a great place to visit.

Take care,

bryan

Bryan,

No, I carry the Camelbak, my Brother-in-law carried the Water bottle holder. The Nalgene is easier to pour water out of than the hydration pack. I carry cups for the kids if they don't carry their own canteen.
