So I started watching this show on FYI network called Unplugged Nation. It's kinda like House Hunter for off grid living. The host usually has a BK2 on his hip and occasionally uses it while demonstrating some new skill to the couple looking at properties. They don't do many knife close ups but they don't try to hide the fact that a knife is standard gear for off grid outdoors work. I have no idea how to get a screen shot but check it out if you get a chance :)
 
Pretty sure I saw one of the guys on History Channel's "Alone" with a BK 2 awhile back as well. It was just in passing, but pretty sure that's what it was, although I could be wrong, happened once before.

Interesting show too. I dont have cable but found the first episode free on their website. I really like all those off grid homes.I want to live in every one of them. I thought it was really cool that the property of one of the houses was over run with wild cows. So many they are considered pests and can hunt them for food. The ground was covered with cow plop everywhere. I want to hunt a cow. Delicious juicy wild cow. Yum.

Pretty sure my wife wouldn't enjoy this version of House Hunters as much. [emoji1] I'll have to check this show out. Looks interesting. Even better if the hose is carrying a BK2!

Couldn't agree more. I have to watch all these house-relates reality shows with my wife, time we watched one I like!
 
You are right one of the guys who quit already had a bk2.I believe I have also seen a tom brown tracker and a fiddle back forge I think.I'm just not certain what type the kid with the dreds his knife resembles a fiddle back forge blade.
 
Anyone see irony in a reality TV show about going off the grid.

What's next? a TV show about ppl who don't watch TV or a podcast about not using the internet? ;)
