......you guys are correct, they do seem to multiply! I bought a BK2 and a BK13, both are nice (opposite ends of the spectrum of course) but neither were practical for my needs (hiking) right now.
Enter the BK16! This one will definitely get some use!
I prefer my blades naked so I had her strip:
I used some 400 then 600 grit wet/dry paper on her to shine her up a wee bit then took my belt sander and cleaned up the tooling marks on the spine forward of the handle. Might do the rest later, might not.
Then it was edge time! Previously I had never gotten a knife 'hair popping' sharp before, but this one is!
A strop is one my best recent purchases.
I just need to make a leather sheath for her and I will be good to go! Blade will go with me anytime I'm in the George Washington National Forest hiking or motorcycling (probably not mountain biking).
