Another big blade

Well, here is another big blade, in a totally different style from teh other one I posted recently. This one has an upswept blade much like the traditional Sorocabana knife style and a roxinho wood slab handle with stainless hollow pins. I think roxinho is the same as the wood you call purple heart but this may not be true, even though they look very similar.
It was made of 1/4" thick 5160 steel, flat ground on the right side (FFC style), sellectivelly heat treated and satin finished. It balances and handles very differently from the Oriental Chopper, being more light at the front.

Ivan that is one tough looking blade how long is it? That looks like it would make a very nice cutter what kind of grind is it?

This one is ground the way I call FFC - Full Flat Chisel. It is flat ground to the spine on only one side.
