I had a fantastic Blade show this year. I spent way too much, drank way too much, and had way too much fun. I also had the privilege of talking with and learning from some old Hogs who know more about Infi than I ever will. Along the way I picked up some awesome knives and a couple of grails to boot. No time for good pics today but I'm really stoked about these two in particular. Black with black handshaped G-10 FFBM and a satin NMFBM with the new black/yellow G-10. More pics to come later.

i'll second the ffbm, where do you keep it again?;) really nice score.

NICE SCORE... I'm jealous. I'll take the FFBM! Is that beauty really .32 thick?

I'm afraid you won't see this one on the Exchange (not from me at least). I haven't mic'd this one but if it's not .32 it's real damned close.

It was great seeing you brutha.:)

You scored two extremely nice pieces that were extremely limited! Its the fatty:thumbup:

I didnt get either:D

The FFBM is flat ground, not a saber grind? Sweet!

Some Blade Show scores. Slipped my new Bantang into the pic for a little extra viewing pleasure.

Garth confirmed that those black/black fatty FBM's were no less than FBM LE blanks found laying hidden somewhere in the compound at Wauseon. They are .32+ and full flat grind, but the top swedge like the LE was left off.

I was lucky enough to score a card for the fat flattie, but since my first Busse is a user FBM LE I quickly swapped it with another hog for one of the previous day's elusive .25 flat grind CGFBM's, sans CBT's, which was my main grail this year after the surprise katana and SHBM. Here it is with the R9, NMFSH proto, SHBM & my old FBM LE #4.

You can see how thin the flat grind CGFBM is compared to the NMFSH and FBM LE in this pic.

NMFSH vs CGFBM length. :p

I'm certainly not a Hog Tim, but I am the lucky piglet who made the trade with you. It was a pleasure meeting you and your family.

I love the black-yellow,I scored a 50.00 off card for a NMFSH

Well, I wasn't gonna spill the beans on who, but it was great to meet you too, Fred. You and the wonderful gal you brought with you are both Hogs in my book! I'm very happy that trade worked out so well for both of us. Oh, and don't forget to let us know what you think if you use it. Those are some amazing scores by the way!

A pic of all the bumblebee Busses that came home with me. I'm really digging this black and yellow G-10.

Last one. The middle one is a BanTang BT6 and the bottom one is a 3.5" Hinderer XM-18 that I got through the lottery. Great (but expensive) trip all the way around. Can't wait to see everyone again next year.
