Another BLADE Show... Another Special Edition Set!!

And this year's set is PHAT... Err...I mean FAT... umm, OK, both! :D Yep, this year Jerry, Amy, Garth & the Crew brought out the heavyweights for the SE 2009 set, and did it in style. 4 blades, 2 different handle slabs, 1 finish, all sweet!! :thumbup:

I broke them out today for some photos... Not really happy with the pix, especially with the white-out on the satin blades, but here they are... Both sets together, and yes, it DID take a wide-angle lens to fit 'em all in!!

I'd noticed that your buying seemed to have tapered off all year long, and now I know why...you were saving for Blade! :eek:

Those MOABs alone would break most banks, but that 2007 set is just bananas.:thumbup:

I gotta stop talking about the knives I like but decided to not get, with folks at Busse... I can almost hear the conversation now:

Jerry: "Garth, did Jaxx take any of the MOABs from the KC Show?"
Garth: "Nope."
Amy: "He did mention to me on the phone a while back that although he thought that they were cool as heck, he couldn't see the point of owning any as they are just too darn huge."
Garth: " Uh-huh..."
Jerry: He couldn't, huh? Well, let's just see about that... Garth, why don't we add the MOAB to the 2009 SE set!!"

yea, I'd have to agree with everyone else, you suck for having any of those much less all and in two different flavors, I didn't even make it to the show to see or much less handle them...
sweet though...

Hey Jaxx, those are amazing sets man !!!!! Those MOABs are just SICK too.

On a side note though,
Did you have the shop put the "2009 speacial edition" etch on yours or did they come on them if you bought the whole set? All the ones I saw did not have that on them.

I guess I'm just special. ;) LOL! ...But seriously, since Busse was very kind and let me send my knives back with them to be shipped, I asked Garth if he'd be willing to pull out and lase just one set of each handle type with the SE logo mark before sending them to me. Any duplicates I have are as how the rest are, but since I like to complete each year's set, I wanted to have these 8 marked like the other year's complete sets.

BTW...Thank you, Garth!!! :thumbup::thumbup: I very much appreciate this. :)
