Well here's one to ponder.
Some time ago I read an article on how Kukri's are made. The maker heated the tang and wrapped a plastic grocery bag around it and shoved it into the handle. The melted plastic apparently acted like epoxy and from what the writer said worked very well.
I have not tried this but the idea sounds interesting.
As tough as some of todays plastics are (Soda bottles come to mind)
Do you think that might work?
Anybody tried this, if so what did you use?
Did it work?

I have some Philipino arrows, the points are mounted like that.

One out of the 18 I had came loose, apparently the maker didn't get the tang hot enough on that one the bag was only slightly melted.

The bags make good Zilch's too :D

I have used the old method where you heat the tang, push it through and then pien it tight.

I've only seen a couple of these come loose and they were over 100 years old (you do have to replace handles occasionaly):D
