I really like the look of the black and blue G10, so it took me a long time today to decide what to get at the show in Easton. Thankfully I missed the big rush last night, and had the room all to myself for quite a while this morning.

I decided to get some new 1911 grips that I'm going to get Garth to bobtail, and also picked up a nice Boss Jack.

That fits in with the rest of the "bruiser" family

Looks like possibly an Ed Brown? Just based on the pattern on the grip front. Chain link pattern I think they call it. Sweet gun!

If I had the cash, I would be all over an Ed Brown.

If buying production, my money would go for a Kimber.

Nice score.

Sweet 1911...what kind is it?

Thinking of getting a Para Ord or Springfield.

Bigfattyt is right, the one in the picture above is an Ed Brown Special Forces. I also have a Kobra Carry that for now is wearing non-Busse grips, but that will be changing soon :-)

Another great one!

I love the feel of the bobbed grip frame!

I just need to start socking my quarters away for the foreseeable future and drop the cash on one!

Would that be about a dump truck full of quarters? Those are nice pieces!!!!!
