Another Buffing Question??????

Does anyone stack their buffing wheels?? I have just been using one 3/4" wheel, but I noticed in some books it looks like they're using three or four inches of buffing wheel. I was just wondering if this would cut the time down or do a smoother job? Take care!! Michael

Stacking wheels is a common occurance in the polishing trade. Most of us glue the segments together with wood glue to give rigidity.

Wider wheels ie over 1" wide are good on flat sheet product but are a pain when working with small parts like knives.

Haven't learned how to make knives yet but I do have some experience in metal polishing.

Any one out there need stainless steel pipe, tubing and flat bar polished?
