Another bug -- or maybe it's just another symptom with the same cause as the "intermittent errors" -- this time when I clicked on "next newest topic" I got the following.

Uh oh!!! Page Missing!

Thank you for visiting
BladeForums.com

Unfortunately, the page you are
trying to get to has either moved or
no longer exists. You can either
click on the above logo to return to
our site, or wait 10 seconds and be
taken there automatically.

More: after posting the above I went back to the general forum and clicked on Nemo's thread "Confortable Handles ! The worst and the best ?" (sic) and got the same error message -- tried again, same error message. The next thread above that works fine, though.

That's only supposed to show up if the page has been deleted, which is possible with a thread, but I am not sure why the thread listing wouldn't be updated for that sort of event.

Next time this happens, please copy and paste the URL into a message so that I can see this for myself, it will make it easier for me to track down the problem. As for now, is the problem still happenning, or has it cleared up? If it's still happening, do you have a URL that I can look at?

I just tried it again and it works now -- I came in here to express my admiration! If you'd only kept quiet I'd be thinking you're a genius right now....

The url is http://www.bladeforums.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/005016.html but it's working now anyway ... next time I'll know to give the url, should have thought of that....

Sorry, I guess I'm too dumb then

Anyhow, I'd rather you know what may be causing a problem, and what might be done to fix it, so that next time it happens, you can "answer" the question should I not get to it too fast. One person helps another, and the community as a whole benefits.
