I picked up a Forsaken Gemini (black w/ green canvas micarta) and was given a 6 to 32 week lead time. What is the real world lead time? How long have you guys had to wait? Is there anyone I can bribe?
 
Jerry has slowed down so they can catch up and get orders out quicker, but I would not hold my breath. I've waited from 1-5 months for knives if my memory serves me right.
 
Im assuming the wait for your first busse is always the longest. My first order was the silent knight, and it seemed like forever till it dinged..but when it dings it dings HARD.. if anything you'll like the break period between offerings to give you a chance to save up.

way i think of it, put 100 bucks aside every month and by time it dings you'll have enough to pay for it easily. :D
 
Welcome! .... I like that coma idea the only problem is the paychecks might slow down and since one feeds the other I'm kinda screwed.
My first new to me from Busse wasn't a bad wait because it was the debut blade of this OP2WP2 and I've been broke since~ but I can slice bacon in style :D the SK I got yesterday, ordered 11-8 but it was a surprise because it jumped the line for some reason a hell of a lot. And there's always the X so you can get blades, the majority of them only taken out of the tactical cardboard for photo shoots with the occasional molesting and fondling.
The best way to see all this, you're investing in precious metals (I stole this line from someone here) but you bought good stuff last night ;) :thumbsup:
And lastly, how good are you at riddles from a drunken knife maker at 2 in the morning on a Saturday night? ..... It's best to drink on Saturday afternoons, it seems to make more sense :D

3-5 months usually. The wait will be long enough that you almost forget that you are waiting then Amy will send you that wonderful e-mail with a tracking number. Totally worth the wait. You are getting a knife that you can beat on for the rest of your life and then your grand son sill be able to do the same.
 
Current lead time is averaging 5 months. Unless it jumps in line like the team gemini m. November blades are shipping end of feb-now
 
Once you make a list and compare it against texicans op2w ship info thread you should be safe from charges for atleast 3-4 months

At least you only have 1 week and 7 days left, always. My first felt like 2 years....then it arrives!
Trust us, we all find ourselves staring down the street just waiting for the big brown truck to arrive with a steamy and fresh bacon delivery
 
After waiting a full year for the BME, ordered at the height of the part 1 backlog, everything I ordered in the current round of offers has felt like it came up super fast. :thumbsup:

No complaints on the BME wait btw, by that point I needed all the time I could get to recoup my finances after everything else lol.
