Hi,

I just got this in the mail today. I don't know why I like these. I'm not much of a Peanut guy, I seldom carry one. But every time I go nosing around a certain auction site, I have to go trolling for them. Perhaps because my Grandfather carried a #21.

My "new" #22

And it's my first yeller handled knife to boot.

Just a family photo of my small but growing collection of Peanuts

Great collection. That picture kind of explains the appeal of yellow handles to some people. The yellow handled peanut realy jumps out at you in the picture. I really like that jigged bone knife at the bottom of the picture.

Hi,

The bottom jigged bone one belonged to my Grandfather. It's very well used up. I keep searching for one just like it. But these Peanuts aren't all that common to find. Maybe that's part of the allure for me.

The puzzle for me right now is, what is the difference between the #21 and the #22. I would say the different scales, but the bottom 2 knives are both #21's.

I will have to admit, this yeller peanut seems to want to ride in my pocket. Am I finally growing up and turning into Jackknife?:D I maybe don't mind turning out like Jackknife, but I really don't want to grow up!

I have a general fondness for Camillus knives. A good working man's knife.

That's a nice set.
