Went for an overnighter this weekend with my gf, my brother, and his fiancé. My brother showed up with a machete and a hatchet that was falling apart. I brought along my BK2, and my newly acquired BK9 that I got off the exchange. My brother thought his machete could keep up with the 9. Hahaha
About five minutes in his machete looked like this.
The 9 finished off the rest of the wood needed for our stay.
I decided to do a flying chop off a rock in to an overhead branch for fun.
My brother in the pic for height reference.
Sadly, the 9 almost took away the need to use the 2. Figured I'd take atleast one shot for good measure.
The 9 is a definite work horse in the forest. I had no idea it would chop significantly better than the 2. I am very happy with.
Now I just need to decide on how I want to customize this 9 to make it mine. I'll have it done with another thread soon enough. For now, just thought I'd share another positive experience I've gained while using my Becker knives.
Thanks
Alex
