Ok the cookies might not be poisoned they are likely made with too much love preventing soldiers from doing soldier things.

I had a rare chance to drive to the range in February so I through in a lot of guns into the truck and I planned a hot lunch to extend my shooting for an entire day of boom boom.

The chicken was good. Better than canned it had some texture left albeit far from fresh. Couscous and Thai chicken at the range!

I ate one recently myself, it was edible but better with some hot sauce. The chicken reminded me of the stuff you get in the tuna sized can, flakes of chicken, so it could be better quality. The best one I had was yhe corned beef, it was made in Montreal so it may have been a point of pride to make it decent.
My big question is does anyone actually eat the stuff labeled "bread"?

Save the bread for the day you get meatloaf. Meatloaf sandwiches. Yeah I agree on the chicken it was better than canned chicken my mre chicken is a little a better for texture.
