Another change at CRK's?

The word through the grapevine is CRK's will no longer be offering Damascus or Ivory.
Speculation is the Damascus takes too long and the nicer Ivory has become scarce.
 
Well,if that's true.I just hope my last order is honored before this takes place.
 
I second that. I have an ivory damascus seb on order. This has always been my grail knife. Knowing this, just makes me want it more.
 
Where did this originate from? I just asked CRK about making a damascus blade for my knife yesterday and they said it would take about 9 months to do... didn't say anything about discontinuing damascus. But that Damascus blade itself is just about as much as a brand spanking new small sebenza... ouch...

I don't want to say where it originated from. I called CRK yesterday as well about making a Damscus/Micarta blade and they didn't say no.
 
Huh.. that's odd. Well, I don't want you to spill the source if you don't want to, but in your eyes is it pretty reliable info? Because of you I just ordered a small raindrop damascus sebenza... damn you :D. Anyone want to buy a like new small 21 sebenza... it will be on the forums soon :p
 
if just yesterday they would take an order for damascus then i think this is a rumor and nothing else. sorta like when someone said that the sebenza was going to be discontinued, it turned out to be nothing but a rumor.

I heard CRK would be giving out a free Sebenza / Umnumzaan / Mnandi package (with matching Damascus blades and ivory inlays) to people with > 1000 posts in this subforum. You're saying that's a rumor? :confused: :grumpy:
