When you shoot for the highest quality you produce 100 khukuris per month and we are lucky to do that. Those who came to Uncle Bill's Cantina and examined the inventory can attest to the fact that our warehouse was pretty empty. We brought all we had to the convention and here they are. But we brought the best!

Like the convention itself, it is quality, not quantity that is of the essence.

I got 20 more khukuris yesterday and they are gone. Another 20 are in the air from Nepal. And that is the way it goes when you refuse to deal in anything less than excellent.

I got there at 12:30 PM ( high noon plus 30 minutes ) Saturday and there sure weren't as many on the table that I saw.

I was happy to see a whole table of Khukuris, and when I found out that all the Khukuris on the table were for sale, I smiled

. Hand picking a special Khukuri from the convention was cool! I was able to pick up one of the nicest 20" Sirupati that I have ever seen and a 16.5" villager for the yard.

Your observations are correct. I think there are 36 khukuris on the table in this picture which was taken early Sat. When we loaded up Sunday evening to come home I think there were about 15 left. Then, luckily, I got in a parcel Monday and have another in the air which may be here Friday or Saturday.

They do not last long, either here in the HI warehouse or over in the Tradewinds meeting room.

Actually I did have a little 12" Sirupati waiting at Uncle Bill's vault, but it didn't make it over to the hotel. Bill sent it Monday, I got it Tuesday, and got his money order into the mail about an hour after the truck took off for Reno. So it left for Reno in Wednesday's shipment.
